Not my best savings, but like I said, I had coupons that were expiring and needed to be used :)

Also, when I went to the mailbox today, I found a $5 manufacturers coupon from Nestle Baby, websaver.ca coupons, and my P&G Brandsampler package! Here is a picture of the samples I got

What a profitable morning :)

Adventures in Mommyhood

So earlier this month, we all had the flu, and poor Peyton got so sick, I had to take her to Emergency for dehydration :( Of course once we got there, she made a liar out of me. I told them that she couldn't keep anything down, and she finished all 6 ounces of pedialyte that they gave her, as well as 3 or so ounces of apple juice! Figures right?

And not to be outdone, last night I had to take Parker to the Emergency room for stitches! Poor little guy fell and hit his head on his train table, and split open his forehead :( After a LONG (ie. 4 1/2 hour) wait, Parker got his first three stitches.

Needless to say, he's feeling better this morning, as you can see from the great big smile, and this one last picture, just for Aunty Krista

ZOMBIE FACE!!!!!
(And I didn't even ask him to do it!)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Our kids had their first visit from the Easter Bunny this morning! We've never done anything for Parker for Easter before, because he was too young to get it anyway, and really, what parent WANTS to get their kid lots of candy if they won't even understand the reasoning behind it? As it was, we didn't get them much in the way of chocolate. We figured their grandparents probably had that area covered :-)
So this is what the Easter Bunny left the munchkins at our house!

Quite a haul right?

This is Parker's Easter bucket. He was so excited to find it on the deck! Of course, of everything in it, his favourite is the ball. There's a couple colouring/activity books, a Cars harmonica, a Cars nightlight, two bottles of coloured bubbles, some chocolate eggs, a couple Lindt chocolate carrots, the ball, and of course the bucket he found it all in! I have to say, the Easter Bunny is lucky Easter was this weekend and not in a couple weeks because every time the Easter Bunny when shopping, he found something else he wanted to get them!

This is Peyton's bucket. As you could probably guess, she couldn't care less about what's in it, but she has enjoyed chewing on the ball so far this morning! I'm sure she'll snuggle up with the monkeys later on at nap time.

My favourite thing that both of them got are these really cool crayon wallets that I sourced out for the Easter Bunny on Etsy! They're made by a woman named Theresa and she makes a lot of really cool stuff that she sells in her Etsy shop. Stop by and take a look!

A little bit more about me and my blog :)

So, like I said before, I started this blog mainly so I can do giveaways for Munchkins N More without having to deal with Facebook. Having said this, I don't plan on everything in this blog being about Munchkins N More. I am hoping to use this blog to write about my kids, my family, and just things that happen in our lives. I like to think I'm funny, but I don't know how funny my posts will be. I promise to try my best to keep you guys laughing and keep you interested without you saying, "ugh, her again?!?!?"
One thing I can promise you I will be talking about is COUPONS! I don't know if I'm quite one of the crazy coupon ladies on the new TLC shows. I know my stockpile is NOT NEARLY what theirs are, but I do have an overabundance Tide laundry detergent, and 80 rolls of toilet paper! I also know that I have just recently upgraded my 2" zippered binder with 25 card sleeves in it to a 3" zippered binder with 50 card sleeves in it. I don't know if I really want to admit it or not, but when I weighed my binder earlier this morning, complete with the weekly flyers in it, it weighed slightly more than my daughter did when she was born! I'll take a picture of it one day and show you. I'm actually quite proud of it and get quite a few compliments on it when I take it shopping! Unfortunately, I can't fit both my binder and my kids in the top of the buggy, which to me logically means that Mommy gets to go grocery shopping without the munchkins most of the time!
I did take a course to learn the basics of couponing in Canada. I'll tell you more about it another day. There's also a course from the same woman about couponing in the US, and being so close to the border, I think I'll probably take that course eventually too, and be an "international couponer"! Won't my family be proud! My 10 year reunion is next year. Maybe this is just what I need to finally break my way into the "in group"! ;-)

Welcome to my new blog!!!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to have this blog started! I hope I'll be able to post on it regularly, but as you all know, I get done whatever I can in between feeding little bellies and wiping little bums! I have mainly started this blog as a way to do giveaways without having to jump through all of Facebook's hoops, so we'll give it a try soon, I promise!
